Late last year, Mazda debuted the latest model in its lineup to be upgraded to the Kodo design language and SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY--the 2016 CX-9. With its launch into dealerships looming, drivers are wondering how the seven-seat crossover changes the game outside of looks. Fortunately, Autoblog has the answer.
A few months back, the automotive newshounds got a chance to drive a pre-production prototype with mostly finalized driving dynamics. They came away quite impressed at how the new car handled, and the performance of its 2.5-liter turbocharged engine (a first for Mazda). The cabin is also quieter, too--allegedly, the quietest in its class.
