Darren Bonanno    General Manager

Hi, my name is Darren Bonanno and I am the General Manager of Wellesley Mazda. I began my career in the Automotive Retail Business in 2000 as a sales consultant. After working for a large national corporate dealer group for about 6 years I had the pleasure of meeting Joe Shaker of Shaker Automotive Group.
What I like most about being a part of the Wellesley Mazda team is the family atmosphere and our easy going approach to serving our customers. It’s been a refreshing change for me and the last two and half years have flown by. That’s because we make it fun for both our employees and our loyal customers. Please stop by and see for yourself.

Rick Silvestri     Director of Internet Sales

I have been in the automobile industry for the better part of 20 years. I understand that most people dislike the idea of having to deal with automobile dealers. 

I was told by several persons that I would like the way the Shaker family treats their employees and their customers. They said it was altogether different than you would expect. After some initial reluctance, I went and interviewed for a position with Joe Shaker and here I am into my third year and I am most happy with my decision.

For my part, I have focused on reversing that feeling people dislike and found that the Shaker Auto Group is a place where the customer can experience an environment of low-pressure and honesty which does not exist at most dealerships.

Dan McBride      General Sales Manager

Hi, my name is Dan McBride and I am the General Sales Manager. I have been in the automotive industry for the last 8 years, the last five of which have been as a sales manager. 

I started at Wellesley Mazda in July of 2008 and very much enjoy the family atmosphere shared by employees and customers. My goal is to ensure that all customers get the best level or service, have a great dealership experience, and enjoy a continued relationship with Wellesley Mazda.

Greg Flowers     Internet Sales Manager

Eight years ago a friend told me I should sell cars, so I welcomed the challenge. Over the next few years I learned every position possible in the Automobile Sales Department from lot guy to billing clerk, from auto detail to receptionist.
I currently hold the title of Internet Sales Manager and I also assist in our Finance Department. One might call me the "Go To Guy". I go home every day to my two girls 3 & 9 and I also have a daughter in college. When you add my fiancé to that group it's obvious that I am able to make no decisions at home. One of the many reasons I love my job, because here I can make a difference.

I started my career at a large Dealer Group where I was just another employee. It wasn't until my last two years with Shaker Auto Group did I see advancement, which is why I will never leave. When you visit Wellesley Mazda the guy greeting you could very well be the owner. The warmth and appreciation of your time will be the same and just like me, you will not want to leave.

Alex Sun    Director of Marketing
Hi, my name is Alex and I have been working for the Shaker Auto Group for one year. I got my Master’s Degree in Marketing Analytics from Bentley University in summer 2008. I met Joe Shaker who is also a Bentley alumnus on a Mazda North American Marketing Research Project that he brought to Bentley. I was the project manger and we had a wonderful time working together on the new 2009 MAZDA6. 
After graduated from Bentley I wanted to find a job in marketing and automobile industry, so I approached Joe and worked for him on a customer behavior research project and eventually, became a full time employee. My work at Wellesley Mazda is to provide you the most pleasant online shopping experience, and to add more value to your visit online and to our showroom.

I came from China in 2007 for my Master’s Degree. In my spare time I enjoyed playing basketball in a local league and hiking in the White Mountains. I have hiked 11 Northeastern state highpoints and my goal is to hike all the highpoints in the US.

Erik Olson    Service Director
Hi, my name is Erik Olson. I am the service director for Wellesley Mazda and Framingham Nissan. I have been with the Shaker Group for 5 years.

My love of cars brought me into the automotive business in 1983. I have worked almost every position in the service department, from car wash to shop Forman to Management. At both our locations we strive to give our customers top quality factory trained service. From an employee that has done all aspects of service we exceed my expectations.

Married with three children, I devote as much time as possible to my kid’s homework and sports. My wife and I are active in our town’s p.t.o and intramural sports.

John Burke    Service Manager
Hello, my name is John Burke. I am the Service Manager for Wellesley Mazda. I have been with the Shaker Auto Group since 2002.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology. I am a Master Certified Service Manager with Mazda since 2003 and have won the Mazda Performance Champion Award for the last 3 years.

Being in the Automotive Industry for over 17 years, I have held various positions with multiple car lines. I started as a Tire Technician and advanced to Service Advisor, Parts Manager, and now as a Service Manager.

I enjoy spending time with my wife Laura and our two kids Owen & Olivia. I also enjoy studying the martial arts. My other hobbies include golfing, video games, movies and playing hockey.

My goal is to build a relationship based on trust to provide every customer with a service experience unmatched by other dealers, with the hope of developing loyal customers. I look forward to seeing you at Wellesley Mazda.

Chuck Lutz      Parts Director
Hi, my name is Chuck Lutz. Presently, I am the parts director for Wellesley Mazda and Framingham Nissan.  I have been a proud member of the Shaker Auto Group for 6 years.  Currently, I hold certifications as a Mazda master parts director as well as a Nissan certified parts manager.
 
I have been in the automotive industry for 25 years.  I hold a degree in Automotive Technology from Franklin Institute in Boston, MA. Prior to that I attended Bentley College for business management.
 
Married with two children, I enjoy spending free time with my family.  I coach both of my children in various sports, football, softball and baseball.   Previously, I have coached many sporting programs for both Greater Marlboro Programs and Belmont Recreation athletes training for the Special Olympics.  I was on the area board for the Department of Mental Health.

Alexander Kamergorodsky    Customer Care Coordinator

Hello! My name is Alexander Kamergorodsky. I came to the USA from Ukraine in 1999. I joined Hometown Auto Inc. (now Shaker Auto Group) in 2001 as a salesperson for its Wellesley Mazda branch. And I’ve been Mazda Master certified for six straight years.

I work here as the Customer Care Coordinator where the top priority of my daily work is to ensure the complete satisfaction of every customer, including their sales, service and maintenance, car delivery and follow-up experience. The most important thing our customers should know is that they are ALWAYS WELCOME at Wellesley Mazda.

Joe Brouillette   Internet Sales Coordinator
After graduating from Keene State College I found myself in Auto Sales; fortunately with Wellesley Mazda. This is my first job in the Auto Sales Industry, and I’m very happy I’m working with the excellent people at Wellesley Mazda. Working here has changed my mind about the Auto Industry, and proven to me there are people out there who are dedicated to getting you the best car and the best deal for you.

In my spare time I enjoy snowboarding, video games, and going to sporting events. I’ve just moved to Watertown with my girlfriend of just over 3 years after we both graduated from college, which has been a new and wonderful experience. I’m also preparing to take the LSAT in the future and hopefully go to a top tier law school!
